Abstract
Mohammad Amin al-Shinqiti is one of the Wahhabi Salafi scholars who has several books on Islamic principles, commentary, etc. His scientific life is divided into two periods, before going to Hejaz and after going to Hejaz. Since, when he went to Hejaz influenced by Ibn Taymiyyah's thoughts and joined the literalism school. One of his key beliefs is the prohibition of metaphor. Approving the Ibn Taymiyyah believes, he maintains that there is no metaphor in the Holy Quran. One of his reasons is that if we accept the metaphor in the Holy Quran, some verses in it, will be allegorical and this is not good for the words of God. But in this case, he has used from a kind of fallacy. His next reason for denying the metaphor is that the predecessors did not use it. This claim is also false; because we can see that they have used the metaphor but did not use its technical term. Finally, it seems that al-Shinqiti has used from the metaphor for his goals but changed its name
