Evaluating the meaning of worship from the perspective of Shams al-Din Dhahabi and Wahhabism, focusing on examples

The Wahhabis have their own definition from worshipping, considering many Muslim's actions and saying Shirk and against Islamic rules. From their perspective, the worship means any kind of submission, even without the intention of worshipping. According to their view, any kind of invocation, even with God's order, is forbidden, and we cannot prostrate to other than God, or seek blessing from the saints or righteous people. the result of this worldview is expelling other Muslims from the realm of Islam. Wahhabists' interpretation from worshipping is in sharp contrast with Islamic teachings. Many Musim scholars convict these Wahhabi verdicts. Shams al-Din Dhahabi is one of those scholars explained the meaning of worshipping. In his view, the element of intention plays an important role in worshipping and we cannot consider the rituals like supplication to the saints, invocation, slaughtering animals in holy places Shirk and violation in the meaning of worshiping, and if so, we must consider the great Muslim scholar like Shams al-Din Dhahabi a pagan.
